The mission of the Gem County Recreation District (GCRD) is to create and operate, affordable year round recreational opportunities, for all people, regardless of race, sex, creed, religion, age or economical status. In addition, the district strives to develop and maintain new recteation programs. The overall goal of the district is to offer a comprehensive, recreation program that enriches the quality of the participants experiences and thus enriches the overall quality of life within the Emmett community. We are dedicated to the values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
For more information and/or to register, contact the GCRD Community Center during office hours: Monday through Friday: 9am - 6pm and Saturdays: 12pm (noon) - 6pm 107 East Main Street, Emmett. All Classes and/or activities will take place at the GCRD Community Center, unless otherwise specified. Pre-register for all classes/activities. A parent/guardian/adult signature (18 years or older) and fees are due at time of registration. Classes must be paid by the deadline. There will be a NO TOLERANCE POLICY for late payment unless prior arrangements have been made through the District, there will be no exceptions. Refunds are given only before the first class or game. Programs/Classes may be cancelled at any time due to inclement weather, inavailability of instructor(s), and/or lack of participation.
